Inclusion Support and Early Childhood Development Intervention Services

Inclusion Support

When children participate in high-quality inclusive early learning and child care programs, they develop confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and healthy relationships with others by actively exploring their environment through play.

The goal of the Inclusion Support Grant (ISG) is to assist all regulated child care centres in creating and sustaining inclusive programs for young children focusing on diversity, equity and quality. This includes providing additional staffing, materials, resources, and/or training and professional learning for staff.

The ISG is intended to facilitate the meaningful participation of all children in high-quality inclusive programs essential for positive lifelong benefits for children, families and communities.
