The Nova Scotia Food and Nutrition Standards in Early Learning and Child Care Programs reflects the latest evidence to support healthy development and growth in young children.
The new standards are aligned with the current Canada’s Food Guide and continue to promote access to healthy food in supportive, responsive and inclusive eating environments.
